Earth Science Program

     Columbia College offers a variety of earth science courses to help educate students to better understand the natural world. Students who take earth science courses will be better prepared to make informed, responsible decisions related to earth systems, including resource extraction and management, natural hazards, climate change, pollution and health related issues, etc. Additionally, the program seeks to employ students in geoscience related jobs (a combination of outdoor and indoor work/lifestyle) that are projected to continue to grow into the future.
